A Year in the Light
A yearlong portrait series for women who want to see the full arc of their transformation.
Your next era begins here
A yearlong portrait journey designed to help you live more deeply. Through seasonal sessions, guided reflections, and intentional creativity, we document your inner and outer transformation. Across three sessions, you’ll see how you move, how you soften, and how you rise.
This is your story told through light and shadow.
This is art-forward portraiture shaped by the natural rhythm of your life.
Four seasons. Three sessions. A handful of check-ins. One printed album or yearbook that holds it all.
Why Work Across a Year?
Because you’re not a single moment. You’re an unfolding story. And a year gives that story room to breathe.
Working across the seasons lets you see yourself the way a heroine would see herself from chapter to chapter. Not rushing the transformation, not forcing the glow up, but noticing the quiet shifts. The braver posture. The softer jaw. The way your eyes change when you finally trust your own voice.
A year offers the depth that a single session can’t. It lets us move through different moods, different palettes, different versions of your light. It captures your growth in real time and invites you to live with more presence along the way.
Most importantly, it turns your evolution into a story you can actually see and return to. A visual narrative that reminds you who you became and what it took to get there.
This is your era.
Let’s document it with the care and intention it deserves.
What’s included
1. Seasonal Sessions
Three portrait sessions spread across the year, typically early, mid, and late.
2. Short Questionnaires
Before each session, you’ll receive a brief questionnaire.
Not therapeutic. Not heavy. Just a few prompts that help you reflect on where you’re at and what’s been changing — internally or externally. These pages become reference points for the work.
4. In-Person Reveal Appointments
After each session, we meet in person for your reveal.
You select what resonates and choose the artwork or digital files that you love.
5. The Final Album or Yearbook
At the end of the year, the portraits come together in a printed album or folio box. It becomes your year as an art piece.

For Kama
These sessions are dedicated to my dear friend Kama, who lost her battle with stage four cancer in the summer of 2025.
Kama first came to do portraits with me in 2015, when she was in a season of change, shown here. I continued to document many of Kama’s seasons for her remaining years. She was a fierce champion for so many causes and people, and really opened my eyes to the power of portrait with some of her final words to me.
A portion of the proceeds of the final publication; a culmination of portraits and wisdom learned from the women in this program will be donated to The Self-Realization Fellowship - https://yogananda.org — an organization important to Kama.
